Strohmatic Light 80

Innovation of the year for bedding as well as automatic, low-cost distribution of organic enrichment material in pig houses. Statutory regulations and the implementation of animal welfare in pig husbandry call for organic occupation material. Without automatic bedding systems, this requires a lot of time and effort. Therefore, large farms successfully use bedding technology such as Strohmatic and Spotmix Welfare. These systems chop the straw and distribute it with precision in the stable using automatic dust extraction. The latest development, Strohmatic light, provides the ability to loosen up straw that has been mulched from the field and packed into large bales. Strohmatic light distributes it to the barn's desired discharge points using a chain system with a diameter of 80 mm or 200 mm as required. Schauer also has a solution for dedusting the straw, for which a patent has been applied for. With the Strohmatic light 80, depending on the total length of the system, up to 40 distribution points can be supplied with chopped straw with a fibre length of up to 80 mm via storage boxes with a volume of 15 litres each. Depending on the number of litter intervals, the straw can be used as activity material for enrichment or as litter for the lying area. It's that simple: Use your tractor or telescopic loader to fill the bale loosener with mulched straw. The distribution of straw takes place automatically and time-controlled, saving the farmer one to two hours of working time every day, depending on the plant's size.
